Two published rate cards. Ordinary household loads price by volume — the fraction of the truck your pile fills, in thirteen steps from a minimum charge to a full load. Dense material like concrete, brick, soil, roofing and shingles prices by the bed, because weight fills a truck long before space does. A licensed contractor decides which card applies while standing in front of the job, and you approve that figure before anything is lifted.

Phones are answered 7am to 10pm, seven days a week, Sunday included. Book before 3pm and same-day is often possible; after that, the next day is guaranteed. Arrival slots are two-hour windows rather than an open-ended morning.

Yes. TJ's holds a full Connecticut demolition licence alongside home improvement and new construction contractor licences, so kitchens, bathrooms, garages, interiors and whole structures are taken down in-house and the debris leaves with the same crew. That is the difference between one booking and two.

Wet paint, solvents, pool chemicals, propane cylinders, motor oil and automotive fluids, and anything containing asbestos, which is licensed abatement work — though abatement is something we are separately licensed to arrange. Everything else you would expect from a house, a garage, a jobsite or a storefront is fair game.

The load price carries labour, the truck, the carrying and disposal. What sits outside it is material the facility charges for by the piece — tyres, freon appliances, electronics, mattresses — and those rates are published on the pricing page so they land in the quote you approve, not in a conversation at the end.

Loads get sorted after pickup. Anything genuinely reusable goes to local donation centres where they will take it, metals and electronics go back through the facilities that accept them, and the remainder is disposed of properly. We would rather describe that honestly than promise a diversion rate we cannot verify on every load.
